Under 14 years of age

Minors under 14 years of age, Italians and foreigners, wherever they reside, may carry out sports fishing in the inland waters of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region with a valid identity document, provided they are accompanied by an adult who has paid the yearly or intra-year fee and has the fishing documents in order.

Each accompanied minor may fish with his/her own equipment but within the limits of the allowable catch for those accompanying them.

The catch is included in the quota of the accompanying adult.

Children under the age of 14 do not pay the fee.

On reaching the age of thirteen, the child may take the examination to obtain a sports licence in FVG, which, however, can only be applied for from the day of the child's fourteenth birthday.
